Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest... when Jack Sparrow was leaving the ship behind because it was under attack and he looked at the compass and it was pointing back in that direction so he went back to fight... my friend says the compass was pointing to the ship because that is what he wanted but I say the compass was pointing to the girl because he was in love with her. Which is it? I mean, he can be pretty ruthless but throughout the movie he seemed to be breaking down a little bit in her presence.

Do you agree that your college didn't do enough to help you find a job once you graduated? I think that many universities don't aid students enough or prepare them enough to go out into the real world and land a job that they actually went to school for. It sucks

It is personally my favorite ever made, but never made it to theaters, so it has a bit of an underground following I think. There was a rumor of a sequel being made called All Saints Day. I even saw a partial script for it on a website somewhere. Anyone know anything about the completion or release of it?

Also, THe old Irish man with tourettes.... I would swear he's the old man from Fraggle Rock with his dog Sprocket. Anyone with me on that?

I want to take my wife to a movie for a surprise. The 3 movies I'm considering are The Departed, The Prestige, and Babel. She likes, primarily, intelligent dramas. She liked Seven, Pride and Prejudice, and Crash. She didn't like Sin CIty ,The Time Machine, and 21 Grams. I'm leaning toward The Departed since she liked The Usual Suspects but, if there's a bunch of car chases and gunfights, she'll hate it. If you've seen these movies please help me out.
