Would you have your child genetically engineered or modified in order to remove genetic deformities, disorders, or for example, the probability of having a heart disorder later on in life, if it were safe to do so?

My personal opinion, I'm not sure. Obviously I wouldn't want my kid to for example, have poor eyesight or something if I could have that fixed and it were safe to. However, I also think that if it were possible to genetically modify a person like that, it might become too 'stepford' or people might start to become alike--if you can modify people disease-wise then it could progress to physical appearance, etc.

All things considered, I'll go with Led Zeppelin. It doesn't matter what else I've been listening to or how long it's been since I last listened to them - every time I put in a Zeppelin album I realize all over again who the real rock gods are. (Yeah, all their records came out before I was born.) But what's your opinion?

I mean I understand hating the saccharine bubblegum that made up the latter parts of their careers. But I just cant help but wonder if any of the bashers have taken the time to listen to some of their earlier works?
Journey for example, put out three albums before tehy even discovered Steve Perry

Look Into The Future
&
Next
All three are full of excellent "Proggy" instrumentals
And their first two Perry albums
Infinity and Evolution are both quite good hard rock albums as well.
And Styx was an awesome Prog band in their early days, the songs "The Serpent Is Rising" and "Suite Madame Blue" are both amazing.
