just think about it. no tv shows, no cell phone, no internet, no gossip magazines, no video games, and you couldn't pig out with junk food (you would have to prepare it yourself) and no malls to go and watch at the new products, how would you spend your time? what would you do?
(you could still have gas and cars and regular phones).

My friend is driving me NUTS (and if you see this, P, you know who you are!!!). We email back and forth during the work day, but if I don't respond to her within an hour she is emailing me like, "What are you doing? Why aren't you writing me? I know you're online! I see you've asked 15 questions in YA!" Hahaha. So WHAT?? Asking and answering on YA is more fun and can be done in shorter time increments than writing out some long boring email about what I'm doing this weekend or whatever.

I love you P, but geez, leave me alone!! :o)

Anyone else have friends like this?? hehe

A permanent memorial or some sort of monumental non-office work (similar to the Oklahoma bombing memorial over the spot of the Murrah building)

A new office building or a replica of the 2 towers

Make it into residential zones for condos or apartment buildings (not trying to be insensitive but NYC needs all the house space it can get and ground zero is pretty big) just a possible suggestion

Is it just me but are these people complete idiots?

This is by far the stupidest thing I've ever heard and the ONLY reason those dog store owners should even have a ridiculous rule like that is if a pet were being abused....which was HARDLY the case here.

I think they just hung themselves with their ridiculous pride and stupidity.
