Yup. I created a terrific yet simple budget spreadsheet in Excel several years ago. Whenever I use my Washington Mutual Visa/debit card, I put the receipt in my wallet and later enter the transaction in the spreadsheet: the item and the cost, and the functions calculate how much I have left in my checking account.
I also have monthly bills entered for the entire year [I have a column for dates], so this spreadsheet also acts as a calendar that reminds me when to pay bills [or when they'll automatically debit, since most of my bills are set up as auto-pay].
I can't believe that as recently as five years ago my finances were in a shambles. I never knew how much I had in the bank at any given time. It was quite terrible.

Yes, I know what budget is, I know what conscious is and I do not know what these two together mean. We are conscious of our soul and what we believe. Budget is money and cannot make us conscious. It is an unconscious thing.
