My dad has been listening to music from the 70's,80's,and 90's since is was born. Somehow he got me hooked. Now I'm a Ozzy, Who, Veritcal Herizon, Lynard, and Zepplin fan. I don't complain, but my friends do. I do have a friend that shares the same interest, but the rest are updated. How can I compromise when we are in the car and I wanna pop in a Marshall Tucker Band cd? HELP ME PLEASE!

When you hear the same thing for at least a half-dozen times within the same chorus, it ruins the song, in my opinion. When artists choose to do so, it tells me that they cannot think up any more words for the chorus and those lyrics are "filler" material. I listen to rap often and realize that it is all about the show nowadays but this situation is a real turn-off.
Anyone who listens to rap agrees? If no, why?
