I'm British living in the USA and what many Americans don't know is we have so many different accents in the UK our accents change from one city to the next I'm from the north west of England (the border of Scotland) and many people love my accent over here but Ive had so many people ask why i don't sound like the people in the movie harry potter also not many Brits have a mixed Irish/British accent

It depends on where the speaker is from. A soft, "proper", British accent can be very charming, almost sensual. But a harsh British accent, such as Cockney, or even Liverpudlian, is much less attractive.

I used to think all things British were pretty until I moved there and got the chance to see for myself first hand what things were really like over there in the U.K.
I couldn't wait to get outta there fast enough (even though it took me thirteen long & endless years to finally get the opportunity to leave this God forsaken land behind)!!!

I like British accents.
Edit: some of the brits can be pretty fecking annoying too.

it suits some people but some poepl have it mixed with an irish accent and sounds plain bad
