Check to make sure that your cat/dog/(well, you get the idea-pet) is really an animal and is not an unregistered animagus?

Okay, first I had to look up "Animagus" (I've read the books and seen the movies, but somehow completely forgot what that was) and then I started to think -
OH MY GOD -
my cat could be an unregistered Animagus and not a cat!
So the answer is yes, I will probably be checking quite often from now on.

Well, that would explain all the good leftovers being gone out of the fridge in the morning! I'm going to have a talk with the dogs now!

Oh, please. Tell us how to check. We wouldn't want to be responsible for the actions of an unregistered animagus.
