A blonde entered a store that sold curtains and told the salesman she wanted to buy a pair of pink curtains. He showed her several patterns but the blonde was struggling to make a choice. Eventually she selected a pink floral print.

"What size curtains do you need?" asked the salesman.

"Fifteen Inches", replied the blonde.

"That sounds very small. What room are they for?"

"They're not for a room", said the blonde. "They're for my computer monitor."

The salesman was baffled. "But, miss, computers do not need curtains.

The blonde said, "Duh!! ... I've got Windooows!!"

do you think it is unfair that we have to pay for sky when they get their funding from adverts like tv?

itv, channel 4 and 5 get their funding from adverts. all these years sky have been getting double money. from us and adverts. what makes matters worse is that sky's adverts are more frequent and longer than terrestrial tv so they get more money that way too. all these years sky have been milking it getting double money. we should either pay for sky and get no adverts (like the bbc with the tv licence) or get sky get funding just from adverts and pay for just the box (like freeview customers). is sky wrong?
