Personally I think it is rather sad that a singer would thik herself to be comparable to a man who spent days fasting in protest, made all his own clothes, wrote several important documents on peace, and truely earned himself the title "Father Of The Nation" (that nation being India) because of a life of selflessness and great deeds.
Other people she described herself as being like are Martin Luther King Jnr and John Lennon. I can see how she is like Lennon in many ways - a singer and performer who has some personal concerns about the environment.
But Matin Luther King? Can she really claim to match even 5% of what he achieved over his life of seeking equal treatment for all? Afterall she is older today than he was when he died.

I'm turning 13 in 2 months, and I have 2 different ideas of things I really want to do. I can't combine them, so I'm stuck choosing between one or the other. The first option is a big backyard BBQ with tons of family and friends. We'd probably eat, hang out, play guitar, etc. outside. I'm big on family, so I really like the idea of this party. The second option is taking a few friends (6 or 7) to a drive-in theatre and watching a movie, then coming back home for a sleepover. I'm into retro stuff, so I thought that would be really cool. I love both these ideas, but I have no clue which one to pick! What do you guys think?

Three men were lost in the forest and later captured by cannibals. The cannibal king told the prisoners that they could live if they passed a trial. The first step of the trial was to go to the forest with the cannibals and get 10 pieces of fruit. So all three men went separate ways to gather some.

The first man came back and said to the king, "I brought ten apples."

The king then explained the second step of the trial to him. First, he had to shove the fruits up his a*ss without any expression on his face, or he would be eaten. The first apple went in, but when he tried the second one he winced out in pain, so he was killed and went to heaven.

The second man arrived and showed the king that his ten fruits were berries. When the king explained the trial to the second man, he secretly thought to it would be easy to shove the berries up his a*ss. On the ninth berry, he burst out in laughter, so he was also was killed and went to heaven.

The first guy and the second guy met in heaven. The first one asked, "Why did you laugh? You almost got away with it!"

The second one replied, "I know, but I couldn't help it. I was doin' just great when all of a sudden the third guy showed up with all those watermelons!"

i am laughing so hard because i have been posting some questions...putting them in polls and surveys, and then i asked another question that went into mental health, and suddenly i'm getting "counseling". (it was just a play on words!)

these people are so sincere...but i thought i hade made a better name for myself here!
