I'm turning 13 in 2 months, and I have 2 different ideas of things I really want to do. I can't combine them, so I'm stuck choosing between one or the other. The first option is a big backyard BBQ with tons of family and friends. We'd probably eat, hang out, play guitar, etc. outside. I'm big on family, so I really like the idea of this party. The second option is taking a few friends (6 or 7) to a drive-in theatre and watching a movie, then coming back home for a sleepover. I'm into retro stuff, so I thought that would be really cool. I love both these ideas, but I have no clue which one to pick! What do you guys think?

Backyard BBQ you have more of a chance to talk, and you have a lot of variety. Why don't you have your 3 really good friends sleep over? you could watch a movie that night! good luck ♥

Figure out your budget first and then talk it over with your parents. I love the backyard bbq thing. That sounds great!

Be with family. You can always go out with friends on the weekends, probably not all 7 together. But it'd be easier and more "monetarily rewarding" to be with family.

Why don't you talk to your parents since they are the ones that are going to pay for it. Both sound good and fun to me, so let the ones that are paying decide
