Buttermilk is a wast product of the cream from the milk. So. All cows produce the components to make buttermilk. The Jersey is known for high cream content?

Any cow is capable of it. One of the things dairies look for in milk is the butterfat. Buttermilk specifically is the liquid left after you make butter. Jerseys are likely your best bet they have high butter fat.

lol It's just made from pasturized milk which you can get from most cows. In the old days it was simply the liquid left over after whole milk or cream had been churned into butter. These days most of it is made with low fat or skim milk though and it's hard to find it made with whole milk.

none. take a regular cow that makes regular milk then milk it and then put butter in the milk.
