A college professor had just finished explaining an important research project to his class. He emphasized that this paper was an absolute requirement for passing his class, and there would be only two acceptable excuses for being late. Those were a medically certifiable illness or a death in the student's immediate family.

A wisecracking student in the back of the classroom waved his hand and spoke up "But what about extreme xexual exhaustion, professor?" As you would expect, the class exploded in laughter.

When the students finally settled down, the professor gave the student a long, appraising look. "Well", he responded, "I guess you'll just have to write with your other hand"

Trying to remember the name of a film where a guy somehow crashes his car and is left paralysed by the roadside. Think it was based in some South american country because he is presumed dead and taken for an autopsy. Just as they are about to open him up one of the doctors notices that he is crying.However the other doctor notices that there is a drip from the ceiling and assumes that this is where the water as come from. That's al i remember about this film but i can remember watching it and finding it as upsetting as that metallica video for "One".

I'm 18 and I'm interested in learning the bass guitar. I took about 6 years of piano but I quit about 4 years ago and I haven't played it since. Although, I took 6 years of piano I was taught no music theory and I feel I am basically musically inexperienced. I want to learn the bass guitar but I don't want to take lessons. Would it be possible for me to learn from just books and DVDs? Any suggestions on titles? I feel I need something very detailed and specific. Also, I am not the most coordinated person in the world. Is this a bad idea?
