Dawn French is funny and bubbly and witty and entertaining. Joan Rivers is very crude and gets most of her laughs at someone else's expense. No contest.

She's quite humorous and has a quick wit, plus she's a really nice lady.
Joan Rivers is very mean and not funny at all, plus her plastic surgery makes her grotesque.
