Just the other day I went out to a party at my friend's house and I met one of her other friends' there (who I know from before by the way), let's just call her Allie. Anyways, the host said something about how her best friend is of the same background as Allie and Allie said something like, yeah, but she's of a lower class than I am. We're the highest of them all, we're the originals and nobody is better than us. I found this statement kind of snobby and rude to the host. What do you think?

Every year at the state fair, a guy entered the lottery for the
brand new truck and lost. This year, he told his friend he wasn't
going to bother to enter.

"What kind of attitude is that?" his friend asked. He leaned
closer and whispered, "What you need, pal, is faith. Look around
and see if the good Lord sends you a message."

Strolling around the fair, the guy grew more and more despondent
as the drawing neared. Nothing struck him, no divine inspiration,
no sign from God.

Finally, as he was passing old Mrs. Smith's pie stand, he glanced
over and saw the woman bending down. She wasn't wearing any
panties, and suddenly her @ss began to glow. All of a sudden, a
finger of flame came from the skies and without her even knowing
it, used her @ss as a notepad. The fiery finger etched a seven on
each cheek.

Thanking God, he rushed to the raffle booth and played the number
77.

A few minutes later, the drawing was held. And once again, he
lost.

Ninties (or possibly late eighties) would have been BBC or ITV, drama, on fairly late in the evening.
Something my mother watched but I only ever saw one episode and it's identity has bugged me for years.
The episode I saw involved a fire during a fancy dress party, started by a man in a chicken costume as revenge for having been fired. He was arrested and two people died in the fire one of them was a man of Chinese origin (in a karate suit) who was trying to get the doors open to save everyone.
Anyone identify it?

In some songs, there are some very quiet lyrics that Plant sings.

-"Dazed and Confused" at about 2:16, after an "ahhhhhh" he says something very quietly.

-"Dazed and Confused" at about 4:49 during the solo he starts to wail about soemthing, but his screaming was made very quiet.

-"Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" at about 1:41 right after "i really got to ramble" something sounds like "aya ya ya ya" but that is probably because i just can't understand it

Also please tell me of any others that you know of.

i went out with this guy for a week but see me & him never saw eachother & never talked in that week. the 1st time we talked since starting to go out was the time we broke up. we both agreed it wasn't the right time in our lives to see eachother & to be just friends & that i liked his best friend before ever liking him & his best friend liked me too so it was a mistake. i just talked to his best friend & he just found out me & the other guy went out a few months ago & said now he can never date me cuz i went out with his best friend. i said that it doesn't even count as me & his friend going out cuz we never talked until we broke up. but he said it didn't matter it's still a fact we went out.
If you have any comments or advice for me please say it. and answer the question Would You Ever Date Your Best Friend's Ex!?

If you are a musician or know a lot about classical music, could you please tell me if you generalize by saying that all music from the 16-17, and some 1800s music was all called 'classical,' or do are specific by saying "this piece was not classical, it was baroque, or romantic, etc? Do you understand what I am trying to ask?
