i went out with this guy for a week but see me & him never saw eachother & never talked in that week. the 1st time we talked since starting to go out was the time we broke up. we both agreed it wasn't the right time in our lives to see eachother & to be just friends & that i liked his best friend before ever liking him & his best friend liked me too so it was a mistake. i just talked to his best friend & he just found out me & the other guy went out a few months ago & said now he can never date me cuz i went out with his best friend. i said that it doesn't even count as me & his friend going out cuz we never talked until we broke up. but he said it didn't matter it's still a fact we went out.
If you have any comments or advice for me please say it. and answer the question Would You Ever Date Your Best Friend's Ex!?

I don't think it's wrong at all. I wouldn't even call what you and the first guy had as "going out" if you barely even talked. If the guy who won't date you because of this has a problem with the week you kind-of-spent with his friend, it's his problem.
And to the second question, it depends on the circumstances. Many times a person and his/her ex can stay friends after the relationship, or at least act civilized towards each other.

I would never date my friends ex's because I have 2 much respect for myself and my friends to do that. If there not good enough to stick with my friend..then theres no way there good enough to hold up to my standers. Every guy Im with has to get along with my friends because my friends were there first and they mean alot to me.So if there is a problem with my dude and one of my friends because the two of them dated...that would cause way too much drama and f*ck up a good thing. Because of this I just avoid it all and not date ne one my friends have dated... Ya feel me?

what you had with the first guy was not even close to a called relationship
so i think that what the second guy is telling you is just an excuse
except if the first guy has a crash on you and his friend knows it thats why he doesnt want to go out with you
