Ninties (or possibly late eighties) would have been BBC or ITV, drama, on fairly late in the evening.
Something my mother watched but I only ever saw one episode and it's identity has bugged me for years.
The episode I saw involved a fire during a fancy dress party, started by a man in a chicken costume as revenge for having been fired. He was arrested and two people died in the fire one of them was a man of Chinese origin (in a karate suit) who was trying to get the doors open to save everyone.
Anyone identify it?

No, it wasn't Casualty, it was a seperate show and I don't think it lasted very long. If it was Casualty I would have remembered.
I wasn't dreaming either but I was young enough not to remember many details.
