and i find that quite expensive thats why i dont go often to the cinema

I don't go very often anymore--I hate the high cost of taking a night off work, paying moviehouse prices for snacks and then being disappointed by the movie. Tickets in South Alabama run about $8. Yes tickets are expensive, but worth it if you know the movie is good (a new Star Wars, for example.) Some movies are worth seeing on the big screen- especially something like "2001" which had all those great wordless scenes! I saw that one several times including at a Cinerama! Most movies are just the same on the TV when they come out on DVD and I rent them. Snacks are affordable then, and I can re-run good scenes!
To see something on the big screen, go to a good second-run theater or go to matinees!

If I can't see the movie within two weeks that it comes out I end up either renting it or just taking a chance and buying the dam thing on DVD. I have only been disappointed once so far The Producers with Gene Wilder. Wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I'll keep that in mind about the spell check

I think is Ohio the going rate for after 6pm is $8.00. I think that is a bit much, especially when you factor in the cost of the popcorn, soda, candy that they sell.
I rarely go to movies anymore - I usually just wait for them to come out on video and then I rent it - SO much cheaper!!
When I do go to see a movie I almost always go to the matinee, which run like, $3.00 - Or we have a couple "dollar" cinemas - they have what has just come out on video - but some things are better on a big screen.

It was last year I think, now I prefer to watch video at home. Tickets I think cost me $ 12 or something at the time.
Last year my life was not that hectic, now I will be lucky if I can remember doing the laundry !

In Australia it costs $10.00 per person. I only go during the holidays because of my daughter.Add on cost of drinks and food.

depends on whats playing sometimes i go every weekend
tickets are 7.50 and yes thats expensive
but i have friends that work there so i get in free!!!
