I've been doing a lot of thinking... like deep philosophical thinking.

I'm happy I'm not ice cream. Everything's so cold in your world. And even though you're sweet... people just want to take advantage of you.. eat you.. and complain about the effects from eating you.

YOU MAKE PEOPLE FAT.

That really sucks. If I was ice cream, I'd fight back. I'd show people that they couldn't take advantage of me. I'd wait until everyone was asleep and then I'd hurry out of the freezer. Of course, I wouldn't have anywhere to go from there. I'd melt under social oppression.

God I'm glad I'm not ice cream.

It's the introductory paragraph for my college application essay.

I’m almost free and able to grasp the air of the free world. I am no longer choking under the pressures of completing 50% of your grade projects, initiating unnecessary small talk and attending overrated parties. My high school career is drawing near and I’m beginning to taste the sweetness in the air that I’ve never bothered savoring before. Its unbelievable how these 4 years in High School have gone by so fast and its heart wrenching how it was nothing like Saved the by the Bell. I will miss everything about High School, including the obvious (friends), but even the petty arguments between students and teachers and the “I wish we were able to eat off campus” lunches. In the same breath, I can also say that I am ready to leave it all behind and I wish everyone would die.
