When Rod Stewart's 2007 tour dates were first announced in November, Houston was scheduled for 4/10/2007, with dates for multiple other cities after that(per his official website). Now the dates stop at 4/2/2007. However, some other websites(e.g. Billboard.com and some ticket broker websites) still show the dates beyond 4/2/2007, and Toyota Center in Houston still says he's coming, though they haven't determined a ticket on-sale date(mid-January they say). What's going on? Help!!!

how to TV stations know how many people are watching a show?

Is there some information passed back from the cable box?

What about people who do not have digital cable? I just get the free cable channels from my town, and from buying internet from a company who also offers digital cable. I only pay for cable internet though.. But i do not have a cable box. my cable just goes into the TV. Or also what about people who get antenna TV?
Are people without a digital cable box not counted?

Im wondering this because i guess they canceled The OC because no one watched it... but how would they know how many people watch it?

An old man lived alone in Ireland. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work.

His only son, who would have helped him, was in Long Kesh Prison.

The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his predicament.

Shortly, he received this reply, "For HEAVEN'S SAKE Dad, don't dig up that garden, that's where I buried the GUNS!"

At 4 A.M. the next morning, a dozen British soldiers showed up and dug up the entire garden, without finding any guns.

Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened, and asking him what to do next.
