Mike Harding (born 23 October 1944) is a British singer and comedian.
Born in Crumpsall, a suburb of Manchester. He is known as "The Rochdale Cowboy" after one of his hit records. He has been a broadcaster, stand up comic, photographer, traveller, film maker, playwright, poet, travel writer and musician. He still has a program on Radio 2

In 1975 the record 'The Rochdale Cowboy' flung him from folk music into the mainstream of live entertainment. Since then he has earned acclaim in all fields of his work including national concert tours, television and radio appearances, travel writing, comedy writing, poetry, playwriting, short story writing and photography.
