How come dog the bounty hunter crew way happy they were on South Park and Tom cruise cannot take a joke?

Why did tom cruise think that it was so serious to be on southpark and have the show banned and some people think it is funny and fun to be on the show? If southpark is an equal opportunity joke show where they make fun of every group and they cannot make fun of tom cruise?
