What word or words do you use to express a unspecified carbonated drink? and What part of the U.S. (or other country) are you from?

I say soda and I'm from TN, but when I moved to IN everyone said pop. My spanish teacher says that when she lived in NY everyone said reffered to soda as tonic.

Is there a song or an Artis or a group,that you just CANT stand? And if they,them or that song comes over the radio.Do you make it a point to turn the radio down or turn to a diffrent station,until the song/Artis/group is no longer on your station?
