like some kind of crusade against what people like even though what they like is harmless. for example people who bash on people for liking celebrities or a certain band?

Some people like to be contrary. To not only believe something, but to belittle those who don't believe the same thing. Even petty, non important things. Just how some people are.

I think they're wasting valuable time griping about what others like. You won't change the person who likes whatever, and you just give yourself an ulcer trying! Kind of like marrying a guy and hoping to change him "after". Doesn't work. Wastes time.

I think they are closed minded and shallow. If everyone liked the same things this world would be more pathetic than it already is. Its the variety that make the world go round.

I think that they need to get a life. I hate it when people hate something because its "mainstream". I mean what does that have to do with them? Why limit yourself on new experiences just because a group of "preps" are doing something. If you like it do it, and don't worry about what others are doing, or what they'll think of you.
