A elderly gentleman visits his doctor on arrival the receptionist asks "why would you like to see the doctor"
The man replies "I have a problem with my penis"
Shocked the reception says "you can't say that you may offend other patients try saying its a problem with your ear than tell the doctor whats really wrong"
So the man walks out a returns moments later "i would like to see the doctor" he says
"why"asks the receptionist
"I have a problem with my ear"
"thats more like it" she says "whats the problem"
To which the man replies
"i can't take a P i s s with it"

My 13 y/o son invited his girlfriend over for a movie. I went upstairs for about 15 minutes, and when I came down, I saw them making out, and they were both pretty into it... He doesn't know I saw them either... Do you think this is normal for a kid his age, or should I do something? By the way, they have been boyfriend and girlfriend for about 8 months. Please voice your opinion!

I got home from work at 12:30. I just wrote a very detailed e-mail to my boss. I don't know what I did, but I was ready to send it and wanted to look it over one more time. But it's gone!

1. There are so many patients with an unusual constellation of signs and symptoms that bring up such numerous and obscure diagnoses which the doctor team just can't seem to narrow down without initiating an improbable combination of diagnostic tests and "empirical treatments."

2. Where on earth do residents / fellows / attendings act as jack-of-all-trades: they manage the patients, do the CT scans, do the laboratory assays, and even get to play CSI and make personal visits to patient's houses to look for whatever substance may have caused the patient's condition?

3. And where in the modern world are doctors allowed to act like House without getting slapped with a major lawsuit???

I know it's fiction, but come on. It's just too ridiculous to be taken seriously...
