I'm concerned about what kind of equipment to buy (new or used). I'm also concerned that I'm too old to become proficient and to accomplish anything of significance. I studied music in my teen years (guitar) so I know the basics about reading and understanding music notation. I've only listened to rock music in the past and never liked or appreciated classical. In the past 5 years, it's like a switch was turned on in my brain. I want to study and play classical piano and/or violin. I really feel in my soul that I need to do this...

Okay, so here's the story. ( Okay, have ur self a lil laugh, I am guitargal55.) (Okay, u can stop now.) Any who, What is the attachment that u put on your guitar's fingerboard so the pitch is higher and (4 example) if u put it on 4 instance the 6th fret, the 7th fret would b the new 2nd fret. I cannot search this item cuz I can't just type "thingy u put on guitar frets" LOL. Anyways plz help. Thanks.

Paddy and Malcolm are walking home after a night out on the piss. They've got no money to get a taxi and are staggering all over the place when they find themselves outside the bus depot.

Paddy has a brainwave and says to Malcolm "Get in there and steal a bus and I'll stay here and look out for the police".

Malcolm duly breaks into the garage. He is gone for twenty minutes and Paddy is wondering what the hell he's doing. Eventually Paddy sticks his head around the door to see Malcolm running from bus to bus looking very worried.

"What the f*u* are you doing Malcolm? Get a move on!"

to which Malcolm replies

"I can't find a number 7 anywhere Paddy!"

Paddy holds his head in his hands in complete disbelief and shouts.

"You f*u*ingidiot Malcolm, steal a number 9 and we'll get off at the roundabout and walk the rest of the way!"
