I seriously despise Andy Rooney...he speaks as though he is God's gift to humanity, like his "wisdom" surpasses that of everyone and that he's a "tough, no non-sense" kind of guy that just says it like it is. Well, in reality he sounds more like a self-centered, no-understanding, nasty old man. He talks about "true men" yet he obviously doesn't understand what being a man really is. He tries to give off the impression he's so tough, but I would love to see how tough he'd be if he stepped in the ghetto for a minute. I really wish someone would kick his @$$. Anyone else agree?

Occam's razor says that things should not be multiplied beyond what is necessary . In the realm of the unknown it can, and often does, lead to incorrect answers. For example, imagine two Greek philosophers having a discussion about the atom at around 400 b.c. Imagine one philosopher theorizing the atom is composed of one, and only one, component, and imagine another philosopher theorizing that the atom was composed of at least two componets, called electrons and protons. The philosopher using the principle of Occam's razor would say that the atom having more than one componet would be a needless complexification, and would be led down the wrong path. This does not mean the principle is wrong all the time, it just means that Occom's razor cannot be used in realms of spectulation, as one does not know before hand what is "multipling beyond necessity". A theory is a hypotheisis with or without emprical data, and when you have a theory WITHOUT emprical data, you cannot use Occom's razor

My gran used to sing this to me when I was young but I can't remember the words. I think the chorus went something like this:

Unfortunately my gran died last year so I can't ask her but would love to sing the song to my son as I always had a really good laugh when it was sung to me.

Every person derserves human rights so does Michael Jackson! In my opinion forgot the people about the human rights and the journalist about every journalistic rules. It doesn't matter if your name is MJ or whatever to be so immoral and unhuman against him, shows me how incredible he is, that he still appearce on stage. For the way people treat him everytime should we show him more respect. Noone needs to love sopport or admire him if he doesn't like him, but there is no need to turn a person like that down and down again, completely unhuman. Michael Jackson has to live his life like he has to and not like we want him to...so does every other person on this earth. Why is everyone writing only crap about him? Noone writed about that he invated fans and watched theater with them, or maked a tour with him through london.
I wish people would think before they act. Don't you guys think his life is hard enough so give him a break...you don't need to write all this crap than better be quit
