The death penalty is disgusting - it takes away so much of my faith in the overall good of humanity. How can a country like South Africa ban it, and America still have it? That's a disgrace to humanity.

Death penalty supporters fall into two categories - people who have been victimized, who I feel sorry for and understand (even if I disagree) with their stance, and ******* who like to see people die if they can find a reason.

I'm not saying that should have rights - I'm saying we shouldn't kill them because doing so makes us little better than them.

You are SO wrong! I live in America and I support the death penalty 100%. If you are brazen enough to take the life of another human being, other than in war and self-defense, you should be put to death. Rapist should be dropped from a 20 foot high bridge with a 10 foot wire wrapped around his testicles. He wouldn't be raping anyone anymore. would he? How many thousands of death row prisoners and repeat rapist and child molesters are being held in prisons in this country right now? Millions of dollars which could be spent for much better causes are being wasted keeping this human garbage alive. You kill someone and are found guilty, you die, period, no if's and's or but's about it. The disgrace is letting those who have killed, go on living.

I believe in the death penalty why should all of us law abiding Americans take care of murderers for the rest of their lives, some of the prisoners live better that us hard working people and it isn't right. Yes a family member of mine was murdered and the man is still sitting in prison living a pretty good life, while my uncle left behind a wife and 2 beautiful children, he didn't even get to see them grow up. So in a way I am supporting someone who killed someone from my family and that makes me ill.

How (in the greatest country in the world) can one man take another man, woman, or CHILDS life and have any rights at all? A person, man or woman, who takes an innocent persons life, should die. I've never had a loved one murdered, but I've seen what it does to victims families.

Maybe its because, unlike most of the rest of the world, we haven't fogotten how to dispose of the garbage. And people who's hearts bleed so much for the criminals & give only lip service to the victims do much to undermine MY faith in humanity.

each and each usa does what its human beings think of is ultimate. maximum "First international countries" are the dimensions of a pair of million State interior the US. we've MANY MANY extra human beings to handle... plenty plenty extra crime only based on the inhabitants length... If the united kingdom have been the dimensions of the US and had to handle the numbers that we take care of, i do no longer think of that they could be so quickly to make the comparable rules that paintings with a inhabitants a million/fiftieth the dimensions of the US. No offense to the united kingdom or France or the different usa, yet our logistical issues on my own make issues plenty extra complicated for the US over the smaller international places. good it off with "State Rights" and you will't make a sweeping fact like "america Has The loss of life Penalty" because of the fact countless states don't have the loss of life penalty from now on. each and each state makes a decision on a individual foundation what its human beings choose for... each and each state makes a decision in the event that they choose for the loss of life penalty in any respect or if it does, what form of execution they choose for used... some states supply the criminal a call... some states say that they get to choose for in the event that they choose for to be hung, shot, electrocuted, deadly injection, or countless different strategies... Yeah... some states say "ok, listed under are your selections, please %. a million." there are maximum of sweeping statements related to the US that do no longer carry water because of the fact of State Rights and the final inhabitants length of our usa. i'm no longer saying that we are extra suitable or worse than the different usa yet once you take care of a inhabitants and geographic unfold like we've, issues that paintings for small international places sometimes only won't paintings while managing such numbers. Like national wellbeing Care. i choose for some form of national wellbeing care... i myself extremely DO! yet while it extremely is barely 'so-so' stable with international places that are a million/fiftieth the dimensions of the US, the value, hassle, and logistics of doing it right here would be very prohibitive... you extremely need to wrap your head around the dimensions situation right here... What works for one, would not paintings for all.

i have sympathy for those who have killed in self defense but to kill because it makes you feel superior somehow is beyond my understanding.thats why there are commandments therefore if you cant abide by them, then you should die the same way as the victim did!! i bet that would slow down alot of overcrowding in prison!!!
