I was a kid that wanted to get into trouble as a teen, so i would go out of my way to make a smart comment or rebel to the point something would snap
I think it was a testing the waters thing.
I would always test my ability to get out of the trouble, i think that was half the problem.
Whilst i did my best to avoid physical trouble, not that i couldnt fight etc, I did get into a few scraps, I just didnt want there to be a physical reminder that i hurt someone, besides it is much more painful to heal emotional/ mental damage.

I would constantly make fun of people and skip school. I would skip school pretty much every day and I would alway get caught smoking in the bathroom. I never got out of trouble until I moved away.. then I was able to start my life over and not be judged for the things i did as a kid that i shouldnt have done.

Drinking, getting stoned. I missed most of the 70's from being high most of the time. I stopped getting into trouble when I got married, and had a few kids. Party was over----

I didn't !
If I did something wrong....for some reason, it never happened again.
I only once remember my mother trying to smack me back in 1960...because I ran across a road...I moved, and she hit her hand on a wall, that was behind me.
Never a word was said.....I had wonderful parents, so I never remember getting into trouble....I just never wanted too.

My middle name is trouble. I would do many things to alleviate getting caught as a kid.

Cursing, I had the worst mouth for miles around. Many a time did I eat soap. Thought I was gonna go blind for a while there.

i was the good kid, my brother was the one that was always in trouble. my father got mad at me for not getting in trouble!!!
