Jesus, hanging from the cross, sees peter in the throng of people at the bottom of the hill.
'peter! he calls. peter hears and says, I hear you, my lord. I’m coming.' as he begins the climb a guard blocks his way and says, 'stop. or I’ll have to cut off your leg.' but peter replies, 'I mustn’t stop, my lord is calling for me.' so he holds out his leg for the guard to cut off, then continues on, bleeding badly
Jesus continues to call, 'peter, peter!' peter, in terrible pain, hops on up to the hill, gasping, 'I’m coming, my lord, I’m coming.' just then he is stopped by another guard who says, 'I’ll cut your arm off if you try to get past me,' so peter holds his arm out and says, as you will. I must go to the lord.' so the guard chops off his arm and peter continues on, growing pale from the blood loss. now crawling along up the hill, peter hears Jesus calling again. 'I’ll be there soon, my lord!' promises peter. another guard blocks his way. 'stop, or I will cut off your other arm,' said the guard. Weak and in pain, peter holds out his arm to be chopped off. He says, ‘our lord is beckoning me. I must go to him.’ Now, armless and with only one leg, he somehow makes it to the top of the hill, dragging his bloody body to Jesus’ feet. ‘lord, I have answered your call.’ Jesus looks down at him and says, ‘hey, guess what peter! I can see your house from here!’

A Texan walks into a pub in Ireland and clears his voice to the crowd of drinkers. He says, "I hear you Irish are a bunch of hard drinkers. I'll give $500 American dollars to anybody in here who can drink 10 pints of Guinness back-to-back."

The room is quiet and no one takes up the Texan's offer. One man even leaves. Thirty minutes later the same gentleman who left shows back up and taps the Texan on the shoulder. "Is your bet still good?", asks the Irishman.

The Texan says yes and asks the bartender to line up 10 pints of Guinness. Immediately the Irishman tears into all 10 of the pint glasses drinking them all back-to-back. The other pub patrons cheer as the Texan sits in amazement.

The Texan gives the Irishman the $500 and says, "If ya don't mind me askin', where did you go for that 30 minutes you were gone?".

The Irishman replies, "Oh...I had to go to the pub down the street to see if I could do it first".

First she gets a reality show, like her sis, where she does everything from coloring her hair to recording and releasing a song called "Shadow" to get out from under just that...her sister's shadow

Fast forward to year 2006...she goes back to her blonde hair & takes it a step further by having her nose done a nose that looks suspiciously like her sister's. Add in the hair extensions and the new cd of pop like music & she's back where she started. Why all the work if she was going to turn around and remake herself into her sister.

Tell me if I'm wrong...the more time that passes the creepier this entire family gets...from the perv they call "Dad" to Ashlee whose under her sister's "shadow" more now than ever.

The nicest & classest thing they had going for them was Nick Lachey,and in a classic "Jessica" move (meaning dumbass) she kicked him to the curb... Well at least Daddy doesn't have to be jealous any longer. (like I said...creepy)

underprivileged women?
Today, while I was surfing the net, I went through this posting.
I found it in the blog of another participant . I don't feel authorized to refer her name without her permission, if she wants she can answer and I will give the link to her blog.
It was an appeal for help.
It was saying that the Breast
Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people
to click on their site daily to meet their quota of
donating at least one free mammogram a day to an
underprivileged woman. it takes less than a minute
to go to their site and click on the link.

i bought the following yesterday for 100 euro (67 pounds)

-vestax pdx-d3s turntables(pair)
-vestax pcv-275 mixer
- sennheiser hd 497 headphones

but the following is wrong:
missing needles for the decks so how much to replace???
and channel 2 does not work due to the whole switch being missing is it replaceable and how much??
overall i think i got a bargain but what do you think???
