corey is doing something with another band right now, i think its stone sour, i dont know if slipknot broke up or if they are just taking a break right now to do other things

Corey Taylor and Jim Root have formed a side- project called Stone Sour. Jim and Corey are still in Slipknot, and it is still alive, though I think just taking a break.

your friends are a gaggle of idiots!!! i'm an OT9 Member and that i will tell you that Corey is with Stone bitter alongside with Jim Root! they have yet another U.S. excursion comming up and as quickly as that excursion ends.......the two Corey and Jim will reunite with the the remainder of the band and checklist the 4th album. that is been set to be released sometime in 2008. additionally look into Stone bitter in case you havent....cuz it form of feels which you havent and SS kicks ***. bypass to there offical website and notice what new information they have!!!

Alas nu-metal died a slow and painful death, fighting 'til the end. It will not be missed. Nu-metal has been replaced my meaningless faux punk-emo in the form of Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco; we pray again for a speedy demise.

I don't know but I think they might be on a hiatus, because of the side projects, I really hope they'll come back though cos they're ace!!
