I like Netflix for the most part. I tend to never return movies on time and so this is a great way for me not to have to owe anyone a zillion dollars in late fees.
The only problem I have with them is that they don't ship on the weekends so will never get anything in the mail on Monday so you end up not being able to get as many DVDs as you would think.
For example..
Tuesday you get your DVD
Wednesday you throw it back in your mailbox to mail it
Thursday They get your DVD and mail you a new one
Friday you get your DVD
Sat/Sun they don't do anything and even if you mail it back on Saturday and they get it first thing Monday morning and ship you out a DVD on Monday because you won't get a new DVD until Tuesday and you follow the pattern again.
No matter how hard you try if you are doing the one DVD out at a time program you'll not get more than 2 DVD's in any given week. Which is still cheaper than renting 2 DVD's from your local Blockbuster (etc..) but is kinda annoying in the longrun.

Netflix is great, but for the 5.99 a month option, you can only have one movie out at a time and you can only get a certain number per month. I go for the 14.99 a month option, and if I watch my movies and send them back quickly, I am averaging seeing 8-10 movies a month. I really like Netflix and have seen a lot of great movies based upon the site's personalized recommendations for me.

no catch.. ITs a good company. My son uses it all the time. But check out the agreements for the 5.99 fee. Is that only one movie at a time deal? He was in the deal where he paid 9.99 monthly and got to keep three movies at a time...

$5.99 for one movie and I love netflix for 3 movies at a time we only pay about$18 and there is no late fees and if it doesnt work they replace it so you can watch it. I havent had any problems with it. plus anyone in your house can get an account if they are older than twelve so everyone gets what they want

NETFLIX !!?!?!?! YES! it is very good and I recommend it to anyone. Love their commercials. for 5 dlls a month you'd probably get one movie at a time. I pay 19.dlls a month and get three at a time. I'll watch one and send it back. it goes like that none stop. They have so many foreign titles to choose from and an extensive collection of Independent film (my fav) to also choose from. Yes, it is good. No late fees and if one should get lost in the mail, you don't get charged for it. I love that I can find movies on there that I don't find at the video Store. You should try it. They have Concerts, documentaries, television shows, musicals, and you're always going to get the new releases. =)

it's okay.. i think you get like 2 movies a month for 5.99... not sure though. My friend had it for a month, but got rid of it. But stop and shop has movies for a buck a night plus tax. It's called Redbox you you just swipe your creditcard.. sweet.. hope it puts blockbuster out of bussiness!

It's good and reliable, but if you live near a Blockbuster, give that a try. I switched to Blockbuster.com about 6 months ago and love it! No problems, plus you get a free rental coupon from the store once a week.
