I am planning to examine the decline in theatre as an art form and what the average person would pay to see on stage. I plan to use the results to create a play that will bring people back to the theatres because it is what they have asked for and not because it is what some pompous practitioner wants them to appreciate. Please take the time to answer genuinely about what it is that you would pay to see - not a specific play, but rather a type of entertainement or a mood or feeling that would excite you. For example, 'I would go to the theatre to see a play about a maniac with a chainsaw' is an entirely appropriate answer and so is, 'I would pay to see a play about the plight of Sudan'.
