George Lucas issued a messgae last month again stating he will not produce any more Star Wars movies
They are producing high end games that will tell the many stories between movie 3 and movie 4, since so many years pass.
there has been talk of a minisieres on television he may produce to tell that story as well, but its not confirmed. hope that helps

There is a rumor that episodes seven through nine are in the works. I have the story plot lines for them. Do an Internet search and you will find them. Type in Star Wars Episode Seven Storyline. You should be able to find it and the plots for the other two episodes fairly easily.
If this is legit, Episode seven won't come out until 2014 or later. Because it is on an official Lucasfilm site, these movies just might happen.

I am going to admit that the Star Wars Saga is over and the only releases involving the Saga will only release in forms of video games, TV series (I heard there will be one, but I am entirely unsure), novels, and fan fiction. Otherwise, not in the next few decades, you'll have to deal with the rerelase of the original films tomorrow and in theatres next year.

they are however coming out with 100 episodes

it would be sweet if George Lucas re-did the first 3 (star wars, empire strikes back, and return of the jedi).. cause the first luke skywalker was a whiney little b-itch... and the special affects would be way sweeter now..
