There is a corridor that leads into an empty room. The room is completely empty except for a lamp in one of the corners. On the other side of the corridor are three switches.

You know that one of them turns on the lamp, the other two don't do anything. You can play around with the switches turning each of them on and off as much as you like, then you can go into the room one time to check whether the lamp is on or off (there is a door so you can't know without entering the room).

Leaving the room, you have to know which of the 3 switches works and which 2 don't.

The question is: How do you do it?

I've heard they're the same instrument, just one is plucked and the other one used with a bow. I always thought they are two similar, but different, instruments. What's right?

everyone in my family is having a good time just not me ! just likes lastr summer n summer b4 .. i mean some cousins got money they go to usa every summer n most of my friends r out side the counrty for studying in college i wanted to go my gov could let me go but my father said no . so i stayed 4 him n he said stay 4 years here n ill let u go to canada or usa for summer but he didnt every time i talk to him about he make up some lame *** excuses like u dont wanna got to amerca son they will give u a hard time just cause u were born with arabian butt (which i think hes right)
.. man life without money is boring .. i really got to deal with that like get a job n save up then finish college then get the hell outta here .. but college finish in 4 years thats a long time buddy .. i could die of boredem b4 i fisnish it .. man im lost ..

On the 4400, the people were taken, supposedly, by people in the future. Now, when Lilly left, she wasn't pregnant. When returned, she was. Who impregnated her with Isabelle? And if they are so concerned that she is a threat and they want her dead, why not just go back in time and make sure Lilly doesn't get pregnant?
