I went to the movies yesterday and sat down and the movie started. For the first 10 minutes, I watched nothing but advertising. NOT previews for other movies, but advertising for soda pop, music, shoes, and hair products. Now come on. If those companies are paying a fee to advertise, then I should be watching the feature film for free. Someone is making money on this, and it is not the viewer. My question is this: Does advertising at movies that you the viewer pay for make sense? and what can we the public do about it?
