I love Nirvana, They are my second favorite band of all time and always have been but Smells like Teenspirit isnt their best song. I wonder if its just because its overplayed...like uh, Is it really a good song? i think it might be but thanks to MTV for butt-shagging another song.

Personally, I think we hear a lot of rock songs but also a lot of "new" R&B singers.

Recently I've really started getting into jazz music (incidentally since I bought an ipod) and bought a few CDs like Wynton Marsalis, Brad Mehldau, Dave Brubeck and Horace Silver. I've always been musical, but don't really like modern popular music like most people my age (I'm in upper 6th). My parents think it's really strange and confusing that I'm into Jazz ''all of a sudden''... OK it's not really something usual for me to be interested in but surely there's nothing wrong with it?

P.S. I enjoy playing piano and jazz pieces and my piano teacher is from a Jazz family
