What do you think about Superman Returns? I love Superman!

WELL HAVENT SEEN IT... BUT I HAVE HEARD ITS NOTHING LIKE THE ORIGINAL MOVIES PREVIOUS TO THIS ONE... BUT WHAT I HAVE SEEN BY PREVIEWS IT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL BE INTERESTING... AND YES I LOVE SUPERMAN TOO... HAVE A MOVIE TICKET I GOT BY GETTING LOIS AND CLARK THE REAL ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN...

It was okay, but kind of overblown ... I mean the whole "Supes is Christ" thing, with the crucified fall into Central Park, and his resurrection. Brandon Routh looked like he was about 19 ... a little young to have fathered Lois' illegimate child, the little Super Bastard. Some pretty cool effects, but as always, Superman's powers are just too darn variable. In one scene, he strains to catch a 727, in another he lifts a freakin' island made of Kryptonite into orbit (and this after having been beaten up by thugs and stabbed).
Go figger.
I thought Kevin Spacey made a good Lex Luthor, but Lex is kind of a "standby" villain for Superman. Okay as an introductory character to the whole mythos, but kind of hard to take seriously.
Consider the Christopher Reeves Superman films ... the first was pretty neat, but it wasn't until the second film that he really, er, took off in the role (Kneel before Zod!).
Perhaps they'll make another and do better, but this one left me feeling kind of blah.

Liked it a lot. And I have always been a fan of the first 2 original Superman movies. But even when they were initially released and I saw them in the theater, I recognized that they were kind of cheezy. Brandon Routh is a pretty good Superman. I miss the whimsy and playfulness of Chris Reeve as Clark Kent, though. Sigh.

I loved the new movie, My husband is a superman FREAK, and I didnt think the movie was going to be that good, {since I watch Smallville}. but i was wrong it was great.

I too love SUPERMAN.....ok ok not him...his gal Lois Lane....but it is hard to believe that lois lane married in absence of superman....it is just awful....but never to worry as the awesome thing is that HE has returned.......with his all his super powers.....flying higher, X-ray vision, laser eyes, powerful body, faster than the bullet speed.......after all its great to know that THE LAST SON OF KRYPTON and MAN OF STEEL has returned.....and guess something... we r planning to go to meet him on our movie theatre this weekend

I loved the movie. It was a superhero/chick/action/adventure movie. The villians were awesome, the hero was believable, and there were a number of small touches I loved, like Lois and Jimmy from the old TV show having small parts.

Overall, the movie was great but at the start, the story was kind of slow. Fantastic effects!

A little long. A little boring in places. But overall I liked it.
