We just moved here in Toronto & wanted to explore the city. Will shop, dine & tour bus ride be a good idea?

Yes, it sounds like a reasonable way to explore the city given your circumstances. It takes the stress of driving out of the equation. Another suggestion, is to get a day pass for the TTC and a map, it's another way(inexpensive)to familiarize yourself with TO. Regardless, enjoy your new home, Toronto is a beautiful, clean city with tons of things to do. Fine dining, plays, concerts, clubs, etc.
Good Luck

Not a bad idea. But, just picking a neighbourhood and walking would probably be better. Toronto's neighbourhoods are best experienced by foot.

Have fun!
