I like them in moderation. I'd have to say my favorites are all the Jimmy Stewart ones, as well as Joan Fontaine, Humphrey Bogart,Elizabeth Taylor, and Greer Garsonones. I like to watch them before going to bed because they relax me.

Does anyone remember Spielberg's Amazing Stories television show? What episode was your favorite?

My favorite was "The Mission" starring Kevin Costner and Kiefer Sutherland. It was about a WWII plane who's belly gunner got trapped in his turret, and the gear on the plane wouldn't go down. Everyone knew he was a goner when they did their belly landing. But he drew a plane on his sketch pad with big cartoon wheels, and they appeared and saved the day.

I can't believe these shows are already over 20 years old.

I think more books need to be made into movies. Anyone agree?

I know there are several books I never would have picked up if not for the wonderful films such as The Secret Garden, Fried Green Tomatoes, Anne of Green Gables, Pollyanna, The Inheritance, etc. I plan on reading Emma soon because I love the movie Gweneth Paltrow starred in.I know the book is usually better than the movie, but the truth is we are a tv and movie generation.
