I got this from myjellybean.com, I hope it helps you. Stranger
Dreams in which a stranger brings you an important message represent your unconscious mind telling you what you need to hear. This dream can also represent your feelings about someone you love who has died. If you dream of being in love with a stranger in your dream, especially if the dream is recurring, your heart is longing for a true love to call your own.

were sigmond freud alive today, he would have changed his notions a bit perhaps...but the idea remains... from what i understand, dreams are made up of 'images' of things and events, without logical connections... but there would be a logic, somewhat nebulously linked to the items, in the characters and events that appear in dreams... a stranger in a dream may be a stranger but could be replaced by a person whom we hardly know... it is symbolic... the meaning is symbolic... if i was thirsty, the dream would show me an ocean and someone dragging me to it or chasing me away ...

if the guy in the dream relates to other serious matters, he is only symbolically playing a role...but if he is repetitively appearing in the scene, then the meaning is somewhere else...
it also depends on the scenes of the dream...

ah, i barely know aish...wish known better!

Hi!
It most likely means that this person represents something or someone else. Here are some questions to ask yourself that may help clear up the mystery of why this person is appearing in your dream:

How is this person connected to you?

What is the meaning of his name?

What adjectives would you use to describe him?

Do you like or dislike him?

What stands out most about him?

Is this person acting differently in the dream than he does in life?

What qualities/liabilities does he have?

What does this person portray in your life?

Does he appear in other dreams?

Is he a leader?

What is his position or title?

What role does he play in your dream?

Hope this helps. I'm one of the interpreters at this site:

Sometimes you don't know you are thinking about him. So I guess you are self conscious dreaming about him but you don't know it.

That's happened to me before. He's just lingering in your subconcious, for some odd reason..
