hi so i am working on reviewing my prepositions & i got confused. i always thought that "as" was a preosition.
then it also says that "beside" & "besides" are two DIFFERENT prepositions. doesnt that sound crazy? thanks

I know I've heard the the word that describes the situation when you hear a word or phase for what you believe is the first time then start to hear it all the time. Of course I can't remember the word. (is that ironic?)

I remember seeing this as a child. One silhouette of a womans face on one side of the TV screen and a silhouette of a mans face on the other side. The lady would say "th" and the mand would say "ing" and then they would both say "thing" anyone know where I could find it or something similar?

Such a simple word, we probably use the word every day, yet it can be so hard to define, how would you define this word, personally I have my own opinion, but I want to see how other people define this word.
