I know I've heard the the word that describes the situation when you hear a word or phase for what you believe is the first time then start to hear it all the time. Of course I can't remember the word. (is that ironic?)

Hmmm. When I clicked, I was going to say that there isn't a word for this.

But you're heard it?

Could be serendipity, as one suggested (which isn't how I understood the word). Try looking that word up in an on-line dictionary -- if it isn't it, it may be in a related word list.

Where's a Reverse Dictionary when you need one?

Don't worry, as soon as you hear the word, you'll hear it all over the place.

;-)

Serendipity, like you think about someone you haven't seen for a while and run into them at the grocery store the next day. Dejuvu is when you feel like you did this before.
