- "we need to pow wow" meaning have a meeting/gathering;
- "are you off the reservation?" meaning are you lost/in the wrong place?

Why is it that the moving stairs that take you both UP & DOWN are called ESCALLATORS? (sorry for bad spelling)
Surely escalate means go up! so how can it be used for the down version too?
I like the names UP-ALATORS & DOWN-ALATORS!
