i have to do an ancient egypt report how do you spell the word that you preserve bodies in?????the word sounds like this-

The word you are looking for is 'sarcophagus'.

The Egyptians made pyramids for tombs for the pharaohs and the queens. They had buried the pharaohs in the ground and would give them a special coffin called a 'sarcophagus'. They would have all the jewels of the person they had buried put into the 'sarcophagus', then they would also write the script so they can enter the world of the undead.

(Note) Only Pharaohs, queens and royal families were put in a 'sarcophagus'.

sarcophagus. you don't preserve bodies in them, that's just where they put the bodies in, like we put bodies in caskets.
