Haha couldn't even fit the whole thing in the title. It's on a crossword puzzle for Civics class. Anyone who gets this is officially the smartest historian on Yahoo! answers. Here it is: Late 17th- and early 18th- century English non-enforcement of the trade laws most harmful to colonial economies. It's 15 letters and so far I have this: S_l__a__n__g_e_t Good Luck!

what i meant, was as part of american history. i say Delaware as in the whole state of Delaware. if you do not understand what i am talking about, then ok.

you got to understand that this was part of a trivia.
anyways, the backround information about why i posted this is a question if you know who that person on a horse is on the tail side of the Delaware state quarter.

As you know, when the new 25cent quarters came out, the very 1st one was Delaware. There is history behind why that was chosen as the 1st state. if you can correctly identify the person on the horse on the tail side of the Delaware State quarter, then you can figure out why he is there, and what he did.

Looking for a hidden FFA Emblem at school.
Clue - History is a thing of the past...well maybe not! I carry quite a load, and the view could be better...A,B,C and D. My friend is all about support, just as I am about leadership. My friend is strong and made of wood and/or metal. Some of my species go round and round, and others only sit and wait, so which am I?

Any clue where I might look or what I might be looking for?
Thanks for any answer.

thanks to all that answered my trivia about the back of the delaware state quarter.. congrats to the one that answered ceaser rodney!!

I knew that people would put Paul Revere! actually, he has nothing to do with america's independence!! LOL!!!!

Ceaser Rodney has been lost/forgotten in many of our history areas and minds. without him, frankly, there would be no america's independence.

we forgot how much some of these guys went through for america's independence.. like Ceaser Rodney, he had cancer!! He wore this black patch across half of his face cause the cancer was eating away his face, yet, a good friend of his, got him on a horse, and send him back to delaware, to die in his hometown. Rodney wanted to die in his home bed. so on his deathbed, he lies. meanwhile, back in philedelphia, the congress needed his vote to declare independence. without Rodney's vote, there is no independence. no one challenges Rodney. So they went back to philedelphia and rodney got his vote in.

My old neighbour over the garden fence, told me that if I ate nothing but fresh vegetables, drank nothing but clean water, kept away from women, didn't gamble or smoke and went to bed at 9 every night, I could live to be 120.
When I checked this out with my doctor, he said it wasn't true- It would just seem like 120 years.

As many of yall know that a while back, the first new state 25cent quarters came out; Delaware being the first. On the tail side, there is a picture of a certain person riding a horse.

Can anyone tell me who that person was? I know the answer, I want to see if yall know it.

*Reminder* -On the Delaware State 25cent quarter, on the tail side, there is a person. that person is very important for America, hence, he was on the very first state quarter.-

good luck.

Barbara is very imaginative and is known to "spice" up stories a bit, making some parts untrue.

After her trip to Hawaii, she was going to tell her mom what happened, but she really didn't do many exciting things. Barbara, being the imaginative thinker she is, came up with a scenario.

"Mom, it was so exciting! I got to see one of the volcanoes erupt, it was amazing! The lava shot a few stories into the air, I've never seen anything like it! Oh, and I was watching a river of lava too! I was only seven feet away from it!".

After her mom heard this story, she knew that a part of it wasn't true. Which part wasn't true and why?
