Last question of the night.

Nursery Rhyme

10 points for the first correct answer.

This nursery rhyme is regarded as the best-known four lines of verse in the English language. It also endures as the first recorded words of human speech. In November of 1877, Thomas Edicson spoke the first five words of this rhyme into his latest invention, the phonograph. The rhyme itself is based on a true story about a little girl and her pet.

Cliche

10 points for the first right answer.

This cliche is used to describe someone who is out of control, and careening about in a drunken manner. It has been derived from an old nautical term used to describe a ship which is out of control and running free. The lack of control in the case of the ship, was due to the ropes, which held the corners of the sail, coming unfastened.
