Looking for a hidden FFA Emblem at school.
Clue - History is a thing of the past...well maybe not! I carry quite a load, and the view could be better...A,B,C and D. My friend is all about support, just as I am about leadership. My friend is strong and made of wood and/or metal. Some of my species go round and round, and others only sit and wait, so which am I?

Any clue where I might look or what I might be looking for?
Thanks for any answer.

The "friend" who is strong and made of wood and/or metal would be the PLOW.

My "friend" is all about support would the cross section of the ear of corn which provides the FOUNDATION of the emblem.

I'm not sure what the A, B, C, and D mean.

After that I'm stuck - maybe in your history room? Is there an eagle on a flag pole somewhere in the room?

I was thinking maybe a piano stool or swivel chair - they spin around, ABCD are notes, carry the weight of the person sitting on them and consider their "view". Their "friend" might be a wooden piano or metal synthesizer. Does the FFA meet in the band room or auditorium where there is a piano?

Leadership - could this mean the band director or conductor's podium?

My first impression would be to look at the trophy case at the school.

That is pretty good. I did not think about birds in that one. I wonder if the mascot of this school is a hawk?

I do hope Scarlet gives some feedback.

Lou53053, that is an excellent suggestion. An eagle at the top of a flag pole. That matches a lot of the clues.

I was in FFA for years.... I found this on the website below:

The cross section of the ear of corn provides the foundation of the emblem, just as corn has historically served as the foundation crop of American agriculture. It is also a symbol of unity, as corn is grown in every state of the nation.

The rising sun signifies progress and holds a promise that tomorrow will bring a new day glowing with opportunity.

The plow signifies labor and tillage of the soil, the backbone of agriculture and the historic foundation of our country’s strength.

The eagle is a national symbol which serves as a reminder of our freedom and ability to explore new horizons for the future of agriculture.

The owl, long recognized for its wisdom, symbolizes the knowledge required to be successful in the industry of agriculture.

The words "Agricultural Education" and "FFA" are emblazoned in the center to signify the combination of learning and leadership necessary for progressive agriculture.

It may help with the specifics of what you're looking for. Good luck!

I would say the "friend" would be the plow and the actual hidden item would either be the eagle or the owl.
