In some cases it can make a BIG difference!! In hospitals, for example, it will matter as far as when results in lab are reported, when meds are given, when dictation is done, etc. The clocks MUST be correct in case anything ever goes to court. Our hospital where I work has had several "downtimes" on our computers to get them ready so we won't run into trouble later. Hope it works!!!

No. They will just reset the clocks in the computer systems and go on. The computer systems don't care what time the sun comes up or the sun goes down.

The time change will do no harm what-so-ever to the computer. The main thing you have to do is change the time on the clock so it would be easier for you so you know what time of day it is.

Most software is adding a patch to fix this problem. The worst scenario is you will have to manually change the time. That is a very simple thing to do.
