About a week ago, I heard that the north star burned out and that over the next couple of years nearly all the stars will be gone. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

Whenever I start a new semester/quarter/year at school, be it back in high school or now in college, I start off with a bang. I do all my work and am on my way to getting good grades. Then halfway through, my willingness to work suddenly drops and I become extremely apathetic. I know I'm not the only person who does this. Does anyone else have this problem, and have you found a solution?

After her own show clearly demonstrated how messed up schools in America are and after she used a school not far from her studio as an example of how bad education is here?? Yet where does she choose to help kids...in Africa! I understand she made the money and can do what she wants with AND that its none of my business, but then again if she didn't want people to have an opinion about it she shouldn't put it on national news.

I am white, and my highschool is in Georgia very near Atlanta. The school I go to is about 75% black, 15% Hispanic, and 10% white. If you go to schools like this, does it effect you in any way, or could you care less.
