I am confused on this problem. Any input would be helpful :)

The question is rewrite the equation so that "y" is a function of "x". Please show work (step by step).

Here is an example: 2x+y=5 you subtract 2x by itself and the 5. Which leads to y=5-2x. Thats the answer to that example.
